Prime Minister, David Cameron, made some optimistic remarks about how e-cigarettes are a “legitimate path” for improving the health of the nation.
While talking at the Prime Minister’s Question Time last week, Cameron admitted that the battle he was going through with quitting smoking ultimately came out successful due to the help of e-cigarettes. The Public Health England recently came out with some findings that the Prime Minister felt should be thoroughly examined. The findings found that e-cigarettes were surprisingly about 95% less harmful to the body than tobacco cigarettes.
Carson continues to point out that everyone is different and many do find success when trying to quit tobacco cigarettes by using e-cigarettes.
The findings have found that over a million people have utilized the help of e-cigarettes to help them quit cigarette smoking. Carson believes that we should be taking this course of quitting smoking very seriously. He finishes by saying how effective smoking e-cigarettes is to lower tobacco cigarette smoking and improve the nations health.
Electronic Cigarette Industry Trade Association’s chief scientific officer, Tom Pruden, said that he is happy to see the UK’s cigarette smokers are recognizing the positive benefits of using electronic cigarettes.
New European legislation will soon threaten the positive outcomes that seem to have been a result of e-cigarettes.
